Norilsky Nickel ranks as 16 in the list of the leading companies of Central and Western Europe. These are the results by Financial Times which assessed the profit of 2000. According to it 1 of 10 biggest Russian enterprises relate to fuel and energy sector, the rest to the to metallurgy industry. Only Gazprom and Jukos entered 10 leading companies.
