Over April 27 - May 4, 2001 gold reserves of Russia grew $700 mln i.e. 2.2% from $31.6 bn to $32.2 bn, Prime-TASS informs with reference to CBR public relations department. Compared to the beginning of 2001 when volume of gold reserves amounted $28 bn it increased 15.4%.
