N e w s APRIL 25, 2001  The Most Important Russian Meeting "Diamonds and Diamond Production of Timano-Ural Region" Komi Republic is back to develop its territory, Head of the Republic Yuri Spiridonov said on Tuesday, April 24 at opening of the meeting session. As was announced today it is important to reconsider all the material obtained in order to fully use mineral and raw resources of the republic. At present level of its development is low and requires solid investment, Komiinform reports. Until April 26 scientists are to discuss general diamond producting problems of the region and technologies and methods implemented. The meeting gathered representatives from production and scientific organisations of republic, Moscow, Saint-Petersburg, Archangelsk, Perm, Salekhard, Ukraine and Brazil.
