In March Juzhuralzoloto mined 133 kg of gold, i.e. 5% below the expected volume. This result was caused by the mend of equipment and delays in power supply of the enterprise. Over 3 months of the current year local prospectors mined 383 kg of gold which is 1% more than in the first quarter of 2000. In addition to this over 42,500 t of gold containing ore of Tsentralnaya mine was processed.

141 kg of gold is expected to be mined in April and 14,000 of ore to be processed.
