Four men who smuggled precious and rare metals were detained in Ivanovo, Crime Department press-service of Federal Committee of Criminal Militia of Home Department.

The information about international criminal group was obtained in March. The group was stealing details from airplanes at the Kazakhstan airfields, then precious metals were transported to Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Litva and Russia.

Four Ivanovo residents were detained trying to sell a portion of precious metals. 300 g of 999', 800 g of platinum (in contacts), 3 kg 300 g of pure platinum and palladium worth 3.5 mln were withdrawn. Legal procedures executed.
