Custom officers of North-West region confiscated more than 80 kilograms of amber during last week
According to RIA "Novosti", two Lithuanian citizens crossing the boarder in their car have attempted illegally to export 80 kilograms of raw amber, hidden in their car's fuel tanks.
More than that, during the search in one of the coaches heading to Poland, illegally exported amber was found in bags belonging to two Russian and Polish women. They both tried to export 9 bead threads, with the weight of 280 grams and about 600 grams of raw amber.
