"ALROSA"company has increased diamond extraction by 5%

In the year 2000 share holding company "Alrosa extracted 1,623 billion USD worth of diamonds, which is 5% more than last year. "ALROSA" company has also doubled its diamond production and sales this year came up to 89 million USD. Overall volume of capital investments was reported to be near 8 billion rubles. Every year the company pays about 700-750 million USD towards various taxes.
