Russia's gold and currency reserves has grown by 6.2 % in the first quarter and on the 1st of April consisted of 29,709 billion USD
According to the information provided by Centrebank of Russian Federation this Friday, Russia's gold and currency reserves had grown by 1,737 billion USD (6.2%) in the first quarter of 2001.
Currency reserves had grown by up to 25,942 billion USD (6,9%) during this quarter, and gold reserves up to 3,767 (1,6%). Foreign currency share had grown from 86.74% to 87,32%, and gold share had decreased accordingly from 13,26%, to 12,68%.
In March 2001 Russia's gold and currency reserves increased by 4,8%. During last month currency reserves has increased by 5,5% from 24,591 to 25,942 USD, and gold reserves from 3,754, to 3767 billion USD (0.35%).
