Diamond Production Problems of Timano-Umanskoye Deposit to Be Discussed at Geologists Meeting on April 3-5 in Syktyvkar
Regular All-Russian Geologists Meeting to be held in Syktyvkar on April 3-5. According to Izvestia the main discussion will touch upon diamonds of Timano-Umansky Region and launching diamond production there. Production will cause lots of expences because it will take trouble to get to diamond containing layer due to the dense sand layers. Experts however say the game is worth the candles - it will contain "quality" diamonds of big size and excellent quality.
