According to the director of the museum Tsarskoye Selo, Ivan Sautov, the International conference devoted to the finish of the Amber Room reconstruction works will take place in Tsarskoye Selo on July 28 - 30. The event will be held within the frameworks of the jubilee of St.-Petersburg.

The largest amber collections custodians from Denmark, Germany, Poland and Russia will gather at the conference. The questions of amber keeping and restoration, amber collections exhibiting will be discussed at the event.

The International conference has been initiated and is supported by the UNESKO Fund.
