According to Albert Avetikov, the public relations manager of the company, this event is planned to take place in the third quarter of 2003.

The subsidiary of OJSC "Polimetall", "Okhotskaya Mining Geological Company", implements the geological exploration and industrial exploitation of gold and silver deposits in Okhotsky region, Khabarovsky krai.

The productivity of the gold extracting plant will amount to 500 thou tons of ore a year. After achieving the rated capacity the annual mining volume is planned to be up to 80-85 tons of silver and 4 tons of gold. With the Hakadginskoye deposit putting into operation, the gold mining volume of the holding will increase significantly and it will allow the company to become one of 15 the largest gold and silver mining companies of the world.
