The Order is given for the outstanding services in the field of Russian traditions and various activities revival and development.

This year there are 14 citizens, organizations and the subjects of the Federation who awarded the Order. Among them are the President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Russia E.M. Primakov, the Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of Russia G.N. Seleznev, the Patriarch of Moscow and Russia Alexiy II and the President of the National Collection Centre of the Articles of Arts G.V. Ananyina.
