Since 2000 Russia is a regular exhibitor of the Show. At "Basel-2001" the country will be represented by a unite national stand in Pavilion #3, pavilion of national jewellery galleries of the USA, Great Britain, France, Spain, India, Hong Kong and other countries. Adamas (Moscow), Almaz-Holding (Moscow), Russkiye Samotsvety (St-Petersburg), Russian Jewellery Manufacture - KARAT (Moscow), Juveliry Urala (Yekaterinburg) - enterprises who are the members of Jewellers Guild of Russia have already confirmed their participation in the Show.

Press Day took place on March 20, just before the Opening of the Show. A number of press conferences were held on this day, as well as Inauguration and Ribbon Cutting of the Hall 2.2 Jewellery Prestige Hall.

The 2400 exhibitors, representing 41 countries, anticipate that about 85,000 specialist trade visitors from all over the world will come to this, the most important international meeting for the watch and jewellery sector.
