Over 2 months of 2001 "Juzhuralzoloto" Increased Volume of Gold Production 4% Compared to the Same Period of 2000 - to Achieve 249 kg of Gold
Ore processing of Tsentralnaya mine increased 8.5% up to 40,000 t, of Svetlinskoye gold deposit 4% up to 89,000 t. New level at the depth of 600 m has been recently developed. The project of a new store for liquid waste products of gold production. The issue of another storage building at the cost of Plast and Cheliabinskaya Oblast Authorities is under discussion. 140 kg of gold is expected to be mined and 72,000 t of ore is expected to be processed in March 2001.
