Gold Reserves of Russia Reduced 4.4% to $28.4 bn
Gold reserves of the Russian Federation Reduced $1.3 bn (4.4%) to $28.4 bn, CBR informs.
Gold reserves reduced due to currency reserves reducing. They reduced $1.3 bn in February to achieve $24.6 bn. Volume of reserves in gold didn't change to remain at $3.8 bn. Share of currency in international reserves of Russia in February reduced 0.65 to 86.7%.
Over 2000 gold reserves of Russia grew 124.4%, volume of currency reserves grew 186.9%, of gold reduced 7.8%. Share of currency increased from 67.9% to 86.8%. In January 2001 gold reserves of Russia increased 6% to achieve $29.6 bn.
