The dagger of Alexander III stolen from the Russian display in California, was found Tuesday at one of Long Beach streets. As reported by a local TV company, location of the dagger was revealed by a stranger who called the TV studio. The precious dagger was found in a paper bag near a phone booth. The dagger, given to Alexander III by a Bukhara emir in 1883, was on display in the cabin of the liner "Queen Mary" turned into a luxurious hotel in the Long Beach port. The theft circumstances are still a mystery. The relic was stolen despite the camera constantly recording the display window. The cost of the tsar dagger and its sheath is estimated at $50 thousand.
