In accordance with the Federal law "Precious Metals and Precious Stones" the RF government made amendments to the governmental decree "Precious Metal and Stone Operation on the Territory of Russian Federation". As reported by the Department of Government Information, according to the signed decree the Finance Ministry is: to present the suggestions on the registration of transactions made with rough percious stones between the miners and Russian processing enterprises, as well as between Russian processing enterprises; jointly with the Economy Ministry enter annual suggestions on the quota assigning for rough diamond export, profitable for Russian processing enterprises having in view the total supply of these organizations with natural rough diamonds and their cutting on the territory of Russian Federation.
