Iraq archaeologists have discovered an ancient castle dating the preislamic period, reported the Iraq press on Thirsday. In the castle, located in the Babil province a hundred kilometers from Bagdad, the researches found many craft articles, statues, coins and pottery items. The ancient bulders used gold-plated bricks in the castle. The scientists believe the castle was built approxomately in the 3rd century B.C.
