The total sum of loans given by Rosbank to gold mining companies exceeded $24 million as on 01.03.2000 from $18.5 million on 01.01.2000. The bank continues consideration of more loan requests on gold mining advancements in 2000. Such loan are provided to cover the companies' expenses on gold and other metal mining. In 1999 the bank was widely crediting enterprises of Magadan, Irkutsk, Khabarovsk and Krasnodar regions, Buryatia and Sakha Republics.
