The Bank of Russia issues memorial coins devoted to the World Championship of biathlon in Hanty-Mansiysk.

Golden coins at face value 50 roubles and silver coins at face value 3 roubles of "The World Championship of biathlon. Hanty-Mansiysk, March 2003" series will become the legal payment method from February 27.

The number of golden coins issued is 1 500 pcs, and silver - 7 500 pcs.

These coins are the legal payment method in Russian Federation.
