In 2002 95 mln roubles were directed from Sverdlovsk region budget to the mineral raw material supply reproduction. About 30% of this sum - more than 33 mln roubles - were spent for precious metals geological searching works.

The deputy minister of metallurgy of the region Vitaliy Ugarov mentioned that it is important to develop the cooperation between metallurgical units and gold mining teams as it is the close cooperation of mining sector and metallurgy that allows to develop the industrial complex of the region.
