XI jewellery exhibition "JUNWEX" 2003" will take place from 5 to 9 of February 2003, in the Central Exhibition Hall "Manezh" (Isaakievskaya sq., 1). 350 jewellers and companies from Russia, Italy, Germany, Turkey, Czechia, India, Japan are the participants of the exhibition. Such famous jewellery companies as "Almaz-Holding", "Adamas", "Russkiye Samotsvety Urala", "Topaz", "Kameya", "Elit", "Estet" and others take part in the show.

During the exhibition opening the heads of Russian jewellery companies informed that the state of jewellery sector in Russia has improved significantly. In 2002 jewellery retail trade volume in Russia enhanced by 34% and jewellery production volume - by 27%. Russian manufacturers pay great attention to platinum: about 200 kg of the metal a year are consumed for jewellery making.
