Committee on Economic Policy and Business of the State Duma of Federal Assembly of Russia has prepared for consideration of the bill "On Introduction of the State Monopoly to Export of Specific Goods".

In opinion of the deputies, a regular distortion is common in the export of petroleum, gas, ferrous and nonferrous metals, business wood in order to conceal from the taxation and reduction of paid export duties. The bill provides introduction of the state monopoly to export of petroleum and a stable gas condense, natural gas, automobile gasoline, diesel fuel, nonferrous metals, ores of ferrous metals, ferrous metals, business wood, and gemstones. The bill provides, that export of some specific goods will be carried out exclusively through the specialized federal state unitary enterprises or joint-stock companies, more than 50 which percents of shares are federal property. The introduction of the state monopoly to export of some the rough materials in order to provide additional income for the Federal budget to make it up to USD 5 billion per year.
