ALROSA and De Beers Discussed New Approaches Towards the Relationships Between Two Companies Under New Conditions
First meeting of the workgroup on preparation a new Agreement between ALROSA and De Beers was hold in Moscow on February 2. New approaches towards the relationships between two companies under new conditions were discussed at the meeting, ALROSA press service informs.
The parties pointed out positive results of the collaboration within the context of the current Trade Agreement and the importance of the collaboration of the two leading enterprizes of the world diamond market in order to maintain Russian home market and ensure world diamond complex stability. The new meeting is planned to be hold at the end of February - beginning of March 2001.
