Diamond Chamber of Russia (DCR) opened a Yakutsk branch, which followed the one in Kaliningrad. "We are planning to open a branch in Ekaterinburg in the middle of May, and in summer - in St. Petersburg", said the president of DCR, vice -president of Alrosa company Sergey Ulin who came to Yakutsk to take part in the opening ceremony of DCR branch. The deputy chairman of Komdragmetal of Sakha Republic (Yakutia) Mikhail Nikolaev was elected president of the new branch. Ulin said that Yakutsk is a natural center of diamond business as the region supplies the greatest amount of diamonds and is successfully developing diamond and jewellry production. The opening of a diamond and briliant affiliate complex in Yakutia provides the best possible grounds for the seller - buyer interaction in the industry.
