Australian authorities are intended to run its own investigation of a collusion between the Christie's and Sotheby's
auctions, as the Liberation informs. It should be noted that American Justice has already began the same investigation of
two auctions, being accused of agreement on the trade rates which is the violation of US anti-trust policy. The European
Union also declared that the same investigation will be held in Europe. Christie's and Sotheby's are the biggest traders
of art and, essentialy, share this market on a world scale.
