This was reported to the President of Armenia Robert Kocharyan by the management of the company Shage Arslanyan and Robert Tashe. As stated in the press release issued by the presidential press service, the Belgian businessmen informed them that the construction works will be started within a month. They said that the enterprise will be able to provide 500 work places. R. Kocharyan especially noted that "creation of additional work places is a top priority for Armenia". Speaking of future prospects for diamond and jewellry industries, he mentioned that the legal basis provides all the necessary conditions for their development. "The State should not interfere with private business, its purpose is to create favorable conditions for it", said the President.
