The Department of Foreign and Public Relations of the Central Bank informs that on the 22 of February 2000 the Bank of Russia issues into circulation the memorable silver coin, dedicated to the 150 anniversary of the Russian artist F.A. Vasiliev worth 2 roubles (the pure weight of precious metal is 15.55 grams, the alloy is 925). The edition is 5 thousand units. The issued coin is the legal tender in Russian Federation and is obligatory for the acceptance at its nominal as the any kind of payment without any limits.
