Management of Alrosa company met with the members of Writers Association in the press club of Moscow office of the company. Among the invited were famous writers and poets whose works are considered the classics of modern literature: Valentin Rasputin, Valery Ganichev, Stanislav Kunyaev, Nikolay Luginov (national writer of Sakha Republic) and others. The outcome of the meeting was Alrosa's decision together with the Russian Writers Association to establish annual literature prizes - All-Russia and for the Writers Association of Sakha Republic. The prize will be awarded for the best piece of literature dedicated to the heroic past of Russia, the destiny of the multicultural people of Russia and the contribution of Russian producers to the country economy. The works may be dedicated to any kind of labor in any industry, not only diamond.
