In 2002 the Diamond Chamber of Russia sold 9,6 thou ct of natural diamonds for more than $10 mln in Moscow. In 2001 these figures were more than 6,008 thou ct for $6,091 mln.

The leading Russian diamonds manufacturers: JSC "ALROSA", Smolensk "Kristall", Smolensk "Kristalldiam ltd.", Yakut CJSC "Tuymaada Diamond" etc. were the vendors. Russian and foreign cutting companies acted as purchasers.
