The Future of President Emerald Is Still Unknown
Nothing certain can be said about President diamond that is currently kept in the safe-cell of "Zoloto-Platina-Bank". As the functions of Ural Department of Federal Debt Centre have changed (Decree of RF Government # 980 dated 21.12.2000), it is now in the stand-by mode waiting for further instructions. That is the reason for no action on this case, the General Director of the Centre Sergei Mukhlin says. According to the sheriff Yekaterina Berezovskikh who runs an executive storage of the stone no authorization for President was ever issued. Furthermore when the safe was subscribed an expire date of the diamond was not indicated. According to the present legislation the time of it is 3 years since the moment of issuing. Executive actions are to be fulfilled within 2 months since the date when the penalty decision was set, the time cannot be interrupted.
The executive procedure will be held until the creditors are satisfied. Some media sources have reported the Government of Sverdlovskaya Oblast will buy the emerald. Ye.Yazovskikh denies this information. According to her no proposal concerning the emerald was given to the Government of Sverdlovskaya Oblast.
