As the BelaPAN in the information administration of the bank informed, the coin
minting in the well-known series will be continued this year.
The series called “The Monuments of Architecture of Belorussia” will be enriched with
the coin representing the image of the Syncovichsk Church (15-16 centuries), located
in the Zelvensk district of the Grodnensk region, and the series “The cities of Belorussia”
will be enriched with the coin dedicated to Vitebsk. For the International Monetary Program
“Sidney2000”, dedicated to the forthcoming Olympic games, Belorussia will present the coin
“Discoball”. According to the National Bank, the coins are made of precious and ordinary metals.
