Those who want to invest money into gemstones, according to the law, have to buy them set - jewellery, in other words. The only exceptions are certified diamonds sold in "Almazny dvor".
Now the amendments to the law "On currency control and currency regulation" are being prepared. According to these amendments private person will have the right to buy gemstones unset in special jewellery stores and salons.
The experts numerate three types of goods made of precious metals and gemstones that can serve as money investment means: exclusive jewellery, antique, (not less than 70-years old) jewellery and jewellery with large gemstone (weighting not less than 1 ct).
