The Jewellers Guild of Russia participated in the Forum. Our representatives discussed new ways of development and promotion of jewellry industry in Russia, especially through the Internet.

As noted by General Director of UNESCO, the changes taking place in Russia now require new approach to culture issues, education, science and technology.

The Mayor of Moscow expressed the opinion that in the new Millenium special attention should be given to the development of technology and science in Russia.
