The Internet was no more a revelation in the jewellry world .
The Russian Jewellry Network was visited and used on a large scale. The first projects were already
done - web sites for the "Jeweller" and "Junwex" Fairs.
The latter became possible much due to the right choice of strategic partners. Already signed were
partnership agreements with Kitco Inc (electronic auctions in London) and GemKey
(one of the world's largest jewellry Internet portals).
Dubna Space Communication Center, where the server is located, is unique in that it provides a
most powerful channel by Russian and world standards. At the Fair any visitor had a chance
to use the resources of the Internet: send an electronic message, see the presented jewellry
sites or simply search the web.
A great achievement was the agreement signed with the Jewellers Guild of Russia on the creation
of an official site for the Guild, individual sites for its members and the joint promotion of the project.
