The Fair became the first significant event that the Russian Jewellry Network took part in. The server enjoyed a great interest on the part of the Fair visitors and participants. This was the first time the Russian jewellry world was exposed to the Internet as a working tool. In the course of the Fair our specialists demonstrated various ways of using the Internet resources: web search, e-mail service and live talk with international associates.

The main purpose of the Russian Jewellry Network is to give all kinds of technical support to Russian producers, make contacts with Russian and world associates, provide a news service. This became the first step in presenting the Russian jewellry industry in the Internet. It is also of importance to note that the number of Russian jewellry web sites has grown considerably after the Fair.
